Bonfire Adventures guide driver will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, transfer you to the Hemingways Nairobi. Check-in then brief you on your safari. Enjoy overnight as you wait to start your Kenya safari on your best holiday in Africa. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast
Hemingways Nairobi
Hemingways Nairobi is ideally located to several of Nairobi’s major tourist attractions among them the Karen Blixen Museum and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. It has lofty, expansive rooms with vast, bright en-suite bathrooms and large private terraces are characteristic of the hotel’s wonderful sense of space and use of natural light. There are 45 high-ceilinged suites, two of which are penthouse style Presidential Suites and 43 Junior Suites culminating in vaulted beams. Approximately 35 Minutes light aircraft from Wilson Airport to Amboseli
Enjoy breakfast then we transfer you to the Wilson Airport for your morning scheduled flight to the Amboseli National Park. Elewana Tortilis Camp’s vehicle & guide driver will pick you from the Airstrip, transfer you to the lodge for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon shared game viewing drive. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. Later return back to the Elewana Tortilis Camp for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy early morning game viewing drive the return back to the lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. If the weather permits you will enjoy breath-taking views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is from the Amboseli where some of the most captivating wildlife photos with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background have been taken. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Elewana Tortilis Camp.
Elewana Tortilis Camp
Tortilis Camp has a prime location for witnessing the majesty of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. The camp is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis, and embraces a hill in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland. Located in a private conservancy bordering the national park, game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the national park and in the conservancy, where guests enjoy exclusivity.
The tents are all spacious, with king or twin beds and elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs. The Private House and Family Tent are located slightly separate to the main camp, upon the hill where they share a pool.
Approximately 2.5 Hours light aircraft from Amboseli Masai Mara including 1 hour stop in Nairobi
Enjoy early morning breakfast then the lodge vehicle will drop you at the Amboseli Airstrip for your morning scheduled flight to the Wilson Airport for a brief stop then onwards to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Elewana Sand River Mara Camp vehicle will pick you from the airstrip, transfer you to the lodge for check-in, lunch then an afternoon game viewing drive. Later return back to the lodge, enjoy diner and overnight.
Enjoy morning and afternoon shared game viewing drives. This famous game reserve is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July through to September each year, the abundant wildlife including the ‘Big five’ of Africa. It is one of the best safari destinations for Safari in Africa. The reserve is surrounded by Masai traditional home-steads and so at a small extra cost you may want to experience a cultural visit to one of them. Elewana Sand River Mara Camp
Located on the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border.
Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s. The interior fixtures and furnishings mirror this period perfectly, reminding all who visit of those countless Hollywood movies that have paid homage to a classic era of African adventure.
Elewana Sand River Mara Camp comprises of 16-tented accommodations - including 1 family tent - each divided into two separate but adjoining campsites, with each area possessing its own designated dining and public areas, thereby creating an increased sense of exclusivity and privacy.

Enjoy breakfast then check-out. The lodge vehicle will drop you at the Keekorok Airstrip in time for your morning scheduled flight to Nairobi. We meet you on arrival at the Wilson Airport, transfer you to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch them onwards to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
